Course Introduction：

Therefore, it is fairly needed to build comprehensive and systematic theories for the new science of architectural technology and study framework. For a long time, the subject of science of architectural technology has been accompanied with no specific courses regarding its development history which are, however, in urgent need. The development history of architectural technology consists of development histories of construction technology and building performance control technology. In the courses, historical development, regional development, materials development, construction pattern development, equipment and tools development, etc. regarding construction and performance control in architectural design are narrated for the purpose of developing comprehensive and systematic construction and design philosophies of the students, introducing building performance control technologies and architectural design methodologies, as well as developing the students’ ability to control design by the virtue of technical methods, making them specialists contributing to the mission of the sustainable development of urban and rural construction of the nation.

建筑新技术的问题自高技派以及欧洲和日本当代建筑师的实践以来，得到了广泛的关注，这种理性逻辑的设计方法似乎顺应了时代的潮流，但是深究其本身，从技术角度出发的建筑设计不一定理性和逻辑。不论如何，技术提供了建筑形式推理生成的一个视角，使建筑师更加关注建筑造型与技术的统一，关注结构内部的力流规律、材料特性、构造节点的精美与简单、艺术与生产之间的关系以及社会进程中建造的统和等，从这一角度找寻建筑创新的源泉是不落伍的时尚。
